Overview

Lane Steel is an ISO 9001 Certified Steel Service Center specializing in flat rolled Galvanized, Galvalume, Aluminized, ZAM, Cold Rolled, Hot Rolled, Hot Rolled Pickled and Oiled and Painted Steel. We offer master coil, slit coil, sheets and precision cut blanks in commercial and higher strength grades. We carry a large inventory of these products and can source those we do not through our many mill suppliers.

Materials are available in Prime, Excess Prime, and Secondary qualities and in thicknesses ranging from 30 gauge to .500”. We offer quick turnaround and fast delivery with processing and packaging to your exact specifications.

Slitting

We have three slitting lines to better accommodate differently sized coils and to speed up processing. We also have a custom packaging line to eliminate production bottlenecks and get your order shipped faster.

Leveling, Blanking, and Shearing

We level material up to .375” thick with our 72” Stamco Leveling Line and our Red Bud Blanking Line is coupled with a Machine Concepts Leveler installed with auto flat to produce laser-flat precision blanks.

Pre-cut Inventory

Lane Steel’s robust inventory allows us to have pre-cut inventory to satisfy our customers’ urgent needs. Our pre-cut inventory is ready to ship, eliminating additional time for processing. We strive to fulfill Just-In-Time (JIT) needs for our customers to meet their demands exactly.

Truck Fleet

Lane Steel carries its own fleet of trucks for inbound and outbound deliveries to provide punctual delivery services to our local customers.

Testing

Lane Steel has in-house testing equipment to provide quick and accurate results for our customers. Rockwell: Used to test the hardness of the steel. YTE Testing: Used to test the yield, tensile, and elongation of the steel.
